Job Summary
We are looking for a Distribution Expert with a minimum of 1 year of experience distributing products in supermarkets and retail shops across Uganda. The ideal candidate will have strong connections within the retail distribution network, a deep understanding of supply chain logistics, and the ability to develop and execute distribution strategies that enhance product availability and sales.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assess and develop strategic distribution plans to optimize product placement in supermarkets and retail shops.
- Provide expert guidance on expanding market reach and improving distribution efficiency.
- Identify and recommend key retail and wholesale partners for collaboration.
- Advise on pricing strategies and negotiation tactics to maximize profitability.
- Offer insights on regulatory compliance and best practices for product distribution.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in product distribution, specifically in supermarkets and retail shops in Uganda.
- Strong network and existing relationships within the retail sector.
- Understanding of supply chain and inventory management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to analyse market trends and develop strategic distribution plans.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
