Job Summary
We are seeking a Food Scientist Consultant to provide expertise in food manufacturing and processing. The ideal candidate will support product development, quality assurance, and process optimization to enhance efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Evaluate and optimize food production processes for efficiency and quality.
- Assist in product formulation and development, ensuring consistency and
- compliance.
- Implement food safety and regulatory compliance measures.
- Provide recommendations on ingredient selection and processing techniques.
- Support troubleshooting in manufacturing operations to address challenges.
- Collaborate with teams to improve packaging, shelf life, and product stability.
- Conduct research and recommend innovative solutions for product
- improvement.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in food manufacturing and processing.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, or local regulations).
- Experience in product formulation, quality control, and process optimization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
