Data protection statement for the applicants to the Innovate for Employment Program on storage and use of personal data.<\/h4>\n

The personal data specified in the application process that is required for the purpose of selecting the participants that will be participating in the Programme Uganda will be stored on StartHub Africa servers and used for (i) selecting the participants for the program, (ii) fine-tuning program activities to tailor the trainings, events or workshops to the specific needs of teams, and (iii) designing additional program activities.<\/p>\n

The data will be used solely for the purpose of the implementation of the Innovate for Employment Programme.<\/p>\n

The legal basis for processing is consent to this statement.<\/p>\n

The data will be used exclusively for the purposes described in the statement. Any other use will always be subject to further consent. Your data will not be used for advertising purposes.<\/p>\n

StartHub Africa use appropriate technical and organisational measures to secure data against unintentional or intentional falsification, destruction, loss or access by unauthorised persons. Access to your personal data is restricted to StartHub Africa as well as program partners who need to process it for the above-mentioned purpose(s), and who will handle the information you provide in a proper and confidential manner.<\/p>\n

The data will not be passed on to third parties.<\/p>\n

Cookies are small text files that are saved locally in the cache of the user\u2019s internet browser. We use them for the duration of a session for the purpose of identifying users when they log in and ensuring smooth operation. Cookies can be deactivated in the browser. However, this may have a detrimental effect on the functionality of the application.<\/p>\n

Rights of Data Subjects<\/h3>\n

You are entitled to enquire about your personal data, have the data corrected if necessary, and ask for processing to be restricted or data to be erased. The data will then be removed from our system. The consent given to use personal data can also be revoked at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing up to the time of revocation.<\/p>\n
