Project Management Assistant

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  1. Project Documentation: Assist in creating, maintaining, and organizing project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
  2. Content Creation & Training Materials: Contribute to creating and organizing training materials and content.
  3. Co-Facilitation: Assist as a co-facilitator in online or classroom training and mentoring sessions.
  4. Communication: Act as a liaison between the project manager, team members, and external stakeholders. Facilitate communication by scheduling meetings, managing emails, and handling inquiries.
  5. Resource Allocation: Assist in allocating and tracking resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure the project stays on track.
  6. Budget Management: Support the project manager in monitoring project expenses, tracking costs, and maintaining budget records.
  7. Monitoring Training Activities: Track and oversee the implementation of training sessions and mentorship activities.
  8. Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports and updates.

Qualifications and Competencies

  1. University Graduate with min. bachelor’s degree
  2. Excellent writing and communication skills internally and with external stakeholders
  3. Excellent organizational skills with ability to pay attention to detail
  4. Excellent management skills
  5. Proficient use of computer applications like excel, word, PowerPoint et al
  6. Training & facilitation skills
  7. Experience in program management/coordination
  8. Experience or desire in implementing entrepreneurship training.
