For Patience Patricia Amusolo, a Ugandan native living in Kampala, that moment arrived with the Online Gig Work Program by ILO PROSPECTS under PROSPECTS Program, funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Uganda and implemented by StartHub Africa.
Patience’s passion for digital marketing was evident from a young age. Despite being unemployed, she pursued occasional gigs to build her skills and make her mark in the digital realm. Reflecting on her initial excitement, Patience shared, “When I first heard about the Online Gig Work Program, I was thrilled. It was my big break into the world of digital marketing, and I knew it was the chance I had been waiting for.”
