The Innovate4FoodSecurity project aims at creating sustainable entrepreneurial ventures that can mitigate the effects of climate change on food security. It is an undertaking of Ennovate Ventures (Tanzania) and StartHub Africa (Uganda).
The project, implemented in Uganda and Tanzania, will see young people in both countries exposed to opportunities that lie along the agricultural value chain, and supported to start ventures to leverage these opportunities.
Staff and volunteers of both organizations will get the chances to work on the project in the partner country, in an exchange initiative. The Innovate4FoodSecurity project and the exchange initiative are funded by the Norec, The Norwegian Agency for Exchange Cooperation, a governmental agency under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Norway.
